The new Office of the DPD for Rp 823 Billion


Regional Representatives Council (DPD) gives a total budget of the construction of 33new offices in all provinces in Indonesia. Construction budget of Rp 823 billion with persquare meter price of Rp 3.2 million, to as high as four-story building.

"According to the Ministry of Public Works budget is used for development in 33provinces of IDR 823 billion. Do not know yet how much later absorbed, may beabsorbed only Rp 200 billion," said Vice Chairman of the DPD, Laode Ida.

It is delivered Laode in a press conference at the House of Representatives, Senayan,Jakarta, Tuesday (28/06/2011).

According to figures Laode will not be absorbed fully. The remaining money will be returned to the state treasury.

"Where money is not absorbed? Course be returned to the state treasury. We useprinciples of budgetary efficiency of accountable," said Laode.

He also dismissed the chairman of the House budget described Marzuki Alie. For theoffice area covering 2628 square meters is priced at Rp 3.248 million per square meter.

"The price does not like to say Mr. Marzuki Alie Rp 10 million per meter. However, based PU, amounting to Rp 3.248 million per meter. It's too exaggerated anddramatized," he explained.

Laode also denied the budget markup. Tender for construction of new office DPD alsohas not started yet.

"Where there is markup. Markup is caught if it is tendered. It is still temporary and detailplannya not exist," he said.
