Simoncelli fastest, Rossi out second















Marco Simoncelli became the fastest in the Dutch GP first practice on Thursday(06.23.11). Gresini Honda rider recorded a best time of 1 minute 49.036 seconds, atthe session which took place in these wet conditions.



"Super Sic" beat the Ducati rider Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda rider, CaseyStoner, who followed him. Rossi, who was in the top position, closed to within 0.0360seconds, 0.491 seconds behind Stoner while.


Although it can only diurutan two, but for Rossi, this is the best result since he joinedDucati in the 2011 season. A positive indication for "The Doctor", who still seeking his best performance with the Italian team.


At the rear there is Stoner's team mate, Andrea Dovizioso. They outperformed the Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo, who had to settle for fifth with a record time of 0.959seconds adrift. Of course Yamaha had to work extra harder to improve its performance,if they are determined to enhance the 50th anniversary of performing in motor racing,with good results at Assen.


Six positions occupied by Tech 3 Yamaha rider, Cal Crutchlow, followed by KarelAbraham (Cardion AB Motoracing), Colin Edwards (Yamaha Tech 3), Nicky Hayden(Ducati) and Ben Spies (Yamaha).
